Making 2026 Bridal trends vintage

Pretty pleated looks dominated the recent bridal fashion week in New York with many designers opting for an element of pleats. One of our favourite looks from Amsale caught our eye with their striking illusion pleated gown and another from Cinq showcased a beautiful satin dress with incorporations of pleated chiffon and vintage look lace. 

Cinq also incorporated a lot of sheer organza looks in their fashion week looks for 2026 really drawing attention to undergarments or lack there of. We couldn't talk about sheer wedding looks without highlighting our favourite dress of the season from Honor. Their muted mint gown with matching cape gave us an innovative recreation of the classic dress and veil combination making it a standout modern look. A quick rummage through our vintage archives and we found a beautifully sheer negligee and mini chemise to play homage to Honor's stand out bridal look

New York Bridal Fashion week showcased a lot of non white options for your wedding day but if you're a stickler to tradition why not try a dash of colour for another of your bridal looks.
