Styling Tibby's Wardrobe the high fashion way for Spring 25

One quick glance at ready to wear fashion for Spring 2025 gives us plenty of inspiration on how to take Tibby's Wardrobe and make it high fashion.

Gabriela Hearst gave us ivory satin slips - much like ours from David Nieper and St Michaels - and showed how even standalone, their understated elegance is perfect for city dates and summer flings alike. 

MiuMiu can always be relied upon to prove that undies are enough with their teeny tiny hem lines and barely-there sheerness. But their 2025 spring collection took it up a notch incorporating 1940s nightie silhouettes layered with bold athleisure. Our favourites included cotton slip sets worn with their recognisable ballet shoe and leg warmer combination. One swift rummage through Tibby's Wardrobe will give you plenty to choose from when taking inspiration from MiuMui this Spring.

Maryam Zassir Zadeh showed how layering textures and juxtaposing silhouettes is a great way of getting more wear from your nightwear. Using coloured sheer fabrics such as chiffon, lace and nylon beneath structured boyish leather and crisp white shirts gives dimension and edge to your Spring Summer look. Easily recreated with our St Michael's Negligees and numerous lace-trimmed chemise.

Similarly to Zassir Zadeh, Vuitton used sheer undergarments and flowing fabrics to showcase their statement tailoring. However, they used interesting silhouettes such as bloomer style pants and cropped chiffon trousers. This particular length and cut resurfaced in spring 2024 and will be sticking around in 2025. You can recreate this look using our vintage Vanity fair bloomer style bottoms and your favourite blazer. 

Chanel's use of peignoir style capes offer a perfect way to add a little lingerie to your every day, with their classic bow fastening and ruffle trim to match. We have a selection of similar style peignoirs if you fancy recreating Chanel's striking styling choice. 

McQueens yellow sheer dress was our favourite from their 2025 spring show. With it's structure corset, cap sleeve and slight pleat, there's a lot to take inspiration from. Yellow is one of our favourite colours this year, so watch out for a few special items dropping over spring and summer.
